Durango International Airport Announces New Direct Route to Guadalajara with Volaris
Tickets for the new route are already on sale. It will operate three weekly flights starting November 3.
Durango, Durango, October 1, 2025 – Volaris, the ultra-low-cost Mexican airline, announced the launch of a new direct route between Durango and Guadalajara, starting November 3, with three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Guadalajara, one of Volaris’ main hubs, is a strategic business and tourism destination in Mexico. The city offers international connections to 23 cities, including the U.S., Costa Rica, and Colombia. This will provide residents of Durango with greater opportunities to travel, study, work, or visit family and friends.
Since Volaris began operations in Durango in 2015, more than 1.6 million passengers have flown to and from Tijuana and Chicago (Midway). With the new route to Guadalajara, the airline adds one more domestic destination from Durango.
Durango, Mexico’s fourth-largest state, is known for its cultural, tourist, and gastronomic richness, consolidating itself as an attractive destination for people of all ages.
Tickets for the new route are now available at volaris.com and on the airline´s mobile app, with flights starting November 3.
