Chihuahua, Chihuahua – July 8, 2025 – Chihuahua Airport becomes a cultural canvas! In a new strategic partnership, Chihuahua International Airport and the Municipal Institute of Culture have signed an agreement to bring art and cultural activities into the airport environment.

The objective is simple: to ensure every traveler leaves with a piece of Chihuahua’s soul. Through temporary exhibitions, live performances, displays of local crafts, and other artistic expressions, the airport will spotlight regional talent and celebrate Chihuahua’s cultural heritage. Imagine arriving at the terminal to the rhythm of a traditional dance, passing by a local art gallery, or discovering handcrafted goods that reflect the spirit of the region – a journey that begins with inspiration.

During the signing ceremony, representatives from both institutions emphasized the importance of incorporating culture into public spaces, particularly those that welcome thousands of visitors daily.

“We want Chihuahua Airport to be more than just a transit point; we want it to be a space where travelers can connect with our identity, our history, and our traditions,” said Hugo Hernández, Airport Administrator.

“This collaboration is a wonderful opportunity to enrich the travel experience and strengthen our regional identity,” he added.

With this initiative, Chihuahua Airport and OMA reaffirm their commitment to community well-being by promoting culture and the arts as key elements of a meaningful travel experience – in alignment with the People pillar of VINCI Concessions.
