An airport for everyone. Chihuahua’s Airport receives the 2025 Inclusive Tourism Distinction.
February 27, 2025. – Chihuahua’s Airport has been recognized with the Inclusive Tourism Distinction 2025, an award granted to companies and organizations that implement best practices to ensure accessibility and inclusion in their services.
The Secretary of Tourism awarded the Inclusive Seal to companies that have adapted their facilities and infrastructure to welcome all types of visitors, including the elderly, children, and people with disabilities, during a ceremony held on February 25 of this year. In this context, Chihuahua’s Airport is proud to be among the first five Distinctions in the state of Chihuahua.
This achievement reaffirms the commitment of the airport and its entire team, both at the corporate and at its facilities, to the continuous improvement of the travel experience for all people.
“This achievement is not just a distinctive, but a reflection of an organizational culture based on respect, opportunities equality, and the value of each person. We firmly believe that a diverse team is a stronger, more creative, and innovative team. Here, every talent is valued regardless of gender, age, disability, identity, orientation, or any other characteristic that makes us unique,” explained Hugo Hernández García, Chihuahua´s Airport Administrator.
The Inclusive Tourism Distinction is given to companies that have demonstrated significant advances in the implementation of accessible facilities, employees trained in inclusion, and the development of appropriate services for people with disabilities.
With this achievement, Chihuahua’s Airport reinforces its compromise with inclusive tourism and keeps on working on initiatives that strengthen inclusion in the airport industry.
