San Luis Potosí International Airport and Volaris Launch Five New Routes to Boost Regional Connectivity and Prosperity
· San Luis Potosí International Airport adds five new routes: four domestic and one international.

San Luis Potosí, S.L.P. – June 2 – San Luis Potosí "Ponciano Arriaga" International Airport, part of the global VINCI Airports network, announces the opening of five new air routes in collaboration with Volaris. This strategic expansion strengthens San Luis Potosí’s connectivity, driving economic, tourism, and cultural development in the region.
Starting today, travelers will gain direct access from San Luis Potosí to key national and international destinations. The new routes complement existing connections to Mexico City, Cancun, Tijuana, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio, significantly expanding travel options for residents and visitors alike.
San Luis Potosí International Airport has demonstrated sustained growth, with a 13% increase in passenger traffic last year and a 14% increase so far this year. To support this expansion and ensure a high-quality experience, the airport has made and will continue to make significant investments. Over the past five years, more than 500 million pesos were invested, and nearly 600 million pesos are projected for the current five-year period, aimed at:
Modernizing runways, platforms, and taxiways.
Expanding commercial positions.
Upgrading technological and security equipment.
Implementing conservation and environmental care actions.
Strengthening emergency services.
