Tampico International Airport adds new air connection to Nuevo Laredo with Viva

  • Viva will launch the new Tampico–Nuevo Laredo route on November 14.

  • The route will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Tampico, Tamaulipas, September 8, 2026. – Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte (OMA) is expanding connectivity at Tampico International Airport with the addition of a new route operated by Viva to Nuevo Laredo, which will begin operations on November 14. 

This new service reflects the collaboration and joint efforts to strengthen connectivity between two key economic hubs in the State of Tamaulipas: its main port city and one of its most dynamic border cities, providing passengers with additional travel options between the two destinations. 

The route will operate twice a week according to the following schedule:

With this addition, Viva further strengthens connectivity through Tampico International Airport, where the airline currently operates four domestic routes to Cancún, Mexico City–AIFA, Monterrey and Villahermosa.
