OMA unveils the new infrastructure of Guadalupe Victoria International Airport in Durango.

  • Around 200 million pesos were invested in the expansion and remodeling of the Durango Airport Terminal Building, which will be able to serve up to 760,000 passengers annually.

Durango, DGO, September 12, 2024 – Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte (OMA) and part of VINCI Airports’ network, has successfully completed the expansion and renovation of the Terminal Building at Guadalupe Victoria International Airport in Durango, following more than two years of work and an investment of 200 million pesos. The new infrastructure provides spacious and comfortable facilities, capable of accommodating up to 760,000 passengers per year.

The newly renovated Terminal Building was officially inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by State authorities, special guests, and OMA executives, led by CEO Ricardo Dueñas.

The project involved the construction of an additional 858 square meters and the renovation of another 3,000 square meters, resulting in a 5,704-square-meter Terminal Building built to the highest standards of quality and safety.

This project is the outcome of comprehensive planning, allowing us to modernize our facilities and offer an enhanced experience to our passengers, from check-in to boarding,” said Ricardo Dueñas, CEO of OMA.

The terminal is equipped with cutting-edge systems and technology that streamline airport operations and elevate the passenger experience at every stage, from check-in to boarding, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and secure service for all travelers.
