OMA to benefit from new alliance with VINCI Airports

Monterrey, Nuevo León February 17th, 2023.- Nicolas Notebaert, President of VINCI Airports and CEO of VINCI Concessions today visited Monterrey airport and presented the positive impact of OMA joining VINCI Airports, its main shareholder since the end of last year.

The new alliance brings together VINCI Airports, the world’ largest private airport operator, which welcomed 209M passengers in 2022, and OMA, operator of 13 Mexican airports that support investment and business in the country.

OMA will benefit from VINCI Airports’ expertise in operations, investment, project management and environmental transition. The synergies will allow increasing air connectivity, optimizing the passenger experience through the expansion and renovation of airport infrastructure and improvements in service.

Entering VINCI Airports’ international network of +60 airports in 12 countries will also bring benefits to OMA’s team, notably accessing VINCI Airports in-house training, mentoring programs, commitments to diversity and broad career paths.

With this large participation into OMA, VINCI Airports expands its operations in America, and establish itself for the first time in Mexico, a country with great opportunity development. With the experience of both groups, strategical actions will be taken to drive growth in the American market and to generate positive impact throughout the region.
