OMA continues to grow: 21 new routes to connect more destinations in 2025

Ready to fly further and with more options? At OMA we keep expanding our connectivity so that more passengers can travel comfortably and efficiently. In the first semester of 2025, we’re adding 21 new routes, strengthening our airports, and bringing key destinations closer to Mexico and abroad.

It’s not just about new flights, but about more opportunities. With these new routes:

  • We make key destinations more accessible, boosting tourism and business.
  • We facilitate the mobility of thousands of passengers, with routes connecting strategic cities.
  • We continue strengthening our airports, which in 2024 welcomed over 26.5 million travelers, showcasing the growth and potential of our network.

The new routes that will take you further:

Here’s a glimpse of what’s coming:

  • From Monterrey (MTY): direct flights to Laredo, Los Angeles, San Luis Potosí, Houston, Miami, Dallas, Bajío, Puerto Vallarta, Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Toluca and Denver.
  • From San Luis Potosí (SLP): connections with Monterrey, Querétaro, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio.
  • From Culiacán (CUL): direct flight to La Paz.
  • From Tampico (TAM): connection with Dallas.
  • From Zacatecas (ZCL): new route to Oakland
  • From Zihuatanejo (ZIH): direct flight to Morelia.

Aerus, Alaska Airlines, TAR Aerolíneas, American Airlines, Volaris, and Aeroméxico will operate these routes.
