Monterrey International Airport Expands International Connectivity with New Aerus Routes

Monterrey, Mexico, January 13, 2025 – Reinforcing its position as a strategic hub in northern México, Monterrey International Airport continues to expand its air connectivity with the new international routes operated by Aerus. These connections will strengthen commercial, cultural, and tourism activities between Mexico and the United States, offering more travel options for passengers and business travelers in the region.

Aerus, an airline based in Monterrey, has solidified its presence in the industry by connecting more than 50,000 passengers and operating over 10,900 flights since the beginning of its operations. Committed to serving regions with limited air connectivity, Aerus promotes economic and tourism development across the country.

As part of its growth, the airline has added two new international routes from Monterrey Airport:

  • Monterrey - Brownsville, Texas (Launched in October 2024)
    • MTY-BRO: Departure 17:45 h. | Arrival 20:05 h.
    • BRO-MTY: Departure 20:45 h. | Arrival 21:00 h.
  • Monterrey - Laredo, Texas (Started at January 2025)
    • MTY-LRD: Departure 08:55 h. | Arrival 10:00 h. (Monday to Friday)
    • LRD-MTY: Departure 10:40 h. | Arrival 11:45 h. (Monday to Friday)

With these new routes, Monterrey Airport strengthens its role as a key point in the country’s air connectivity, facilitating trade and promoting tourism between both nations. Additionally, passengers will enjoy the highest standards of quality and safety aboard Aerus’ Cessna Grand Caravan EX fleet.
