Monterrey Airport Enhances Global Connectivity: Direct Route to Paris Operated Permanently by Aeromexico

Monterrey, N.L., July 13, 2026. – Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte (OMA) proudly announces that Aeromexico has extended the Monterrey–Paris (Charles de Gaulle) direct route into a permanent operation. This decision reinforces the international connectivity of Monterrey International Airport and establishes the city as a primary connection hub between Northern Mexico and Europe.


The decision is driven by increasing demand for long-haul connections and the collaborative efforts of airlines, authorities, and OMA to expand connectivity options for passengers and businesses. It also highlights the significant impact of ongoing investments in infrastructure designed to strengthen the region’s connection to transatlantic markets.


The growth in both domestic and international connectivity is further reflected in positive passenger traffic trends. In June alone, the terminal hosted 1,327,028 passengers, including 235,985 international travelers, underscoring Monterrey’s appeal as a destination for business, tourism, and global events.


Launched initially as a seasonal route from April to October 2026, the Monterrey–Paris route has demonstrated consistent growth, supported by strong demand from both business and leisure travelers. With Aeromexico’s decision to maintain indefinite operation, the route will operate three weekly frequencies aboard Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, enhancing Monterrey’s connectivity with Europe while complementing existing services to Madrid.
