Aerus reactivates the Monterrey–Tampico route and strengthens its regional connectivity with Viva
The Monterrey–Tampico route resumed operations on March 2, 2026 and operates with six weekly frequencies.
Monterrey, Nuevo León, March 3, 2026. – As part of its growth strategy and the consolidation of its destination network, Aerus announced the reactivation of the Monterrey–Tampico route, which began operations on March 2, 2026 with six weekly frequencies, strengthening regional air connectivity and expanding mobility options for both business and leisure travelers.
This route is integrated into the expanded connectivity network that the airline maintains through its codeshare agreement with Viva Aerobus, allowing passengers to access a broader range of domestic and international destinations, benefit from more efficient connections, and enjoy a more seamless travel experience from Monterrey, one of the country’s main air hubs.
With this reactivation, Aerus continues to strengthen strategic connectivity in northeastern Mexico, contributing to the region’s economic and tourism development.
