4 new routes will start operations in Monterrey Airport, connecting Nuevo León to more regions in México.

  • Monterrey International Airport boosts regional connectivity with the opening of four new routes operated by Volaris.

Monterrey, Nuevo León, June 7, 2023 - OMA, in collaboration with the Secretary of Tourism of Nuevo León and Volaris, is pleased to announce the opening of four new routes from Monterrey Airport to four destinations in Mexico: Tapachula, Puerto Escondido, Culiacán, and La Paz. These routes are part of the 40 new connections that Volaris has added to its network.

The opening of these routes boosts air connectivity in Nuevo León by offering more flights to passengers, promoting tourism, and fostering economic development throughout the country.

The flight to Culiacán will depart from Monterrey Airport daily, while the route to La Paz will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. The direct route to Puerto Escondido will operate on Sundays, and finally, the flight to Tapachula will depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

This boost in expanding air connectivity between Nuevo León and various destinations across the country promises to open up more possibilities for residents of the state and tourists who seek to enjoy its attractions, as well as for those with business objectives in the region.
